Old enough for your Grandma to be watching soap opera, “Days of our Lives,” posted this photo to their Facebook page. I know the show’s 40-something years-old, but 12,000th episode? I’m not sure what’s more disturbing, the fact that the only reason I saw this was that my news feed told me that my mom “liked” this photo or that the show has been around that long. But whatever, good for them and all that jazz.
I used to watch the show on school breaks and for a while had DVR’ed it (before I felt like this is sinking below even some of the “mindless entertainment” I like to watch after a long day at work), so I know enough to notice that one important character is missing, which begs me to ask the question…
Where the hell is Sami Brady (aka Allison Sweeney) and why is she not in this photo?!
Everyone (and by everyone, I mean the housewives, college students, and unemployed with nothing better to do) knows that it’s Salem’s favorite scheming little sister with the heart of gold that makes the show. You cannot have a cast photo without Sami-fucking-Brady. Sorry.
